USAID Liberia: Counter Verification and Quality Assessment of Liberia’s Health Service Delivery System (CVQAL)

USAID Liberia Counter Verification and Quality Assessment of Liberia’s Health Service Delivery System (CVQAL): RMC successfully implemented four key components of the health sector assessment in Liberia. Component 1 involved counter verification of 28 PBF indicators at primary health facilities and 29 at secondary (hospital-level) facilities, generating insights to strengthen learning, adaptive management, and M&E capacity. Component 2 focused on administering Quality-of-Care checklists across 90 USAID-selected health facilities, finalized through a co-creation workshop. In Component 3, RMC collaborated with USAID, MOH, and partners to deliver face-to-face and virtual co-creation workshops, clarifying the scope of verification and quality assessment activities. Component 4 delivered comprehensive documentation, including inception and training reports, fieldwork summaries, and dissemination materials such as infographics and presentations.
